Lactation Specialist
Hudson Lactation Associates is a boutique lactation practice serving Hoboken and the greater Jersey City area since 2013. The practice offers one-on-one consultations for new and experienced mothers navigating breastfeeding challenges including latch difficulties, low milk supply, tongue tie, and return-to-work pumping plans. Sessions are available in-clinic, via telehealth, and in the home. The team is International Board Certified (IBCLC) and brings together nursing backgrounds with specialized neonatal training, providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each family's unique journey.

Sarah Mitchell is a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 11 years of clinical experience. She earned her nursing degree from Rutgers University and completed advanced neonatal care training at Jersey City Medical Center. Sarah is fluent in English and Spanish and has a particular focus on tongue tie assessment, low supply management, and supporting mothers returning to work. She has built a reputation in the Hudson County community for her warm, practical approach and her willingness to meet families where they are — including home visits.

Dana Flores joined Hudson Lactation Associates in 2020 after five years working in the NICU at RWJBarnabas Health. Her experience with medically complex newborns gives her a deep skill set in premature infant feeding, supplementation strategies, and NICU follow-up support. Dana is a certified Neonatal Touch and Massage Therapist and brings a gentle, whole-family perspective to each consultation. She is currently accepting new clients for both in-office and telehealth appointments.
